This spring, the KOM Theatre will be hosting a new Finnish premiere. It tells the story of Finnish-American Maila Nurmi, the creator of the cult character Vampira, and transports the viewer to the glory of 1950s Hollywood, but also to the world of the strange and the outsider. The performance joyfully combines camp spirit and black humor into an incredible life story. The work is a celebration of the richness of imagination, strangeness, outsiderness and failure.
